Anberlin is a rock band that formed in 2002 and hails from Winter Haven, Florida. Although Anberlin does not like the moniker “Christian rock” for their band, their lyrics often portray the struggles between maintaining Christian morals and living in today’s world. Anberlin is very open about their Christian faith, saying that their faith influences everything they do. 

Anberlin stated that they don't want to be labeled as a “Christian" rock band because they do not want to be stereotyped and only draw Christian listeners. Their goal is to reach the entire world with their positive messages.
